Fondy Park

Fondy Park has evolved into a wonderful event space in the Milwaukee community.
We have begun to host local, regional, and national groups in this space, bringing needed resources and information, and, for some events, just pure joy to the northside of Milwaukee. We invite you to host an event in the park!

Fondy worked with the City of Milwaukee’s Environmental Collaboration Office, and several other partners, to transform a long-vacant lot next to the Fondy Farmers Market into an environmental park and gathering space. The Fondy Park has state of the art stormwater management, collecting up to 83,000 gallons of run-off during major rainstorm events – helping prevent flooding in the immediate neighborhood and keeping Lake Michigan clean. Fondy utilizes the Park for music and activities. Shoppers, farmers and neighbors use the park’s community-designed tables to sit and enjoy their lunch, play board games, enjoy entertainment on the stage, and watch their children playing in the grassy commons. It is enough to simply to take in the trees, the prairie and flowering plants.

The Fondy Park is one of the many stops on the City of Milwaukee's Lindsay Heights EcoTour! Learn more here about solar, local food and climate change adaption as you walk through the Lindsay Heights Neighborhood.
