Fondy Park

Please visit the City of Milwaukee's award winning eco park and gathering space at the market!

To transform a long-vacant lot next to the Fondy Farmers Market into a new eco park and gathering space, Fondy worked with the City of Milwaukee’s Environmental Collaboration Office, and several other partners. The Fondy Park has state of the art stormwater management, collecting up to 83,000 gallons of run-off during major rainstorm events – helping prevent flooding in the immediate neighborhood and keeping Lake Michigan clean. Fondy utilizes the Park for music and activities. Shoppers, farmers and neighbors use the park’s community-designed tables to sit and enjoy their lunch, play a game of chess, watch entertainment on the stage or their children playing in the grassy commons, or simply to enjoy the new trees, prairie and flowering plants.

Apply to Host an Event in the Fondy Park

Neighbors and community groups are able to apply to use the Fondy Park when the Fondy Farmers Market is not open. The City of Milwaukee’s Fondy Park Advisory Committee is now accepting applications to host an event for the 2021 season. You can download the Fondy Park Facility Use Application here. Please send completed applications to jcasey@fondymarket.org The Park Committee will review the applications and let applicants know the status of their application once a formal decision has been made.

The Fondy Park Advisory Committee is comprised of community members appointed by Alderperson for the 15th District, representatives from Fondy, the North Ave./Fond du Lac Marketplace Business Improvement District, Department of City Development, Department of Public Works, and the City Environmental Collaboration office.
