Milwaukee Farmers Market Coalition

The main goal of the Milwaukee Farmers Market Coalition (MFMC) is to increase access to, and utilization of, farmers markets by building capacity to serve low income consumers and by attracting diverse clientele with the long-term goal of increasing produce intake within Milwaukee area communities by convening interested farmers markets along with healthcare, governmental, non-profit, citizens, and other partners.

JOIN US!

The MFMC’s bimonthly meetings are open to the public. Market managers, public health advocates, government officials, and interested citizens all regularly participate in our meetings. You can find updated information on MFMC on the UW-Extension website.

The MFMC is a joint collaboration between Fondy and the UW-Extension of Milwaukee County's FoodWISE program.

MILWAUKEE MARKET MATCH!

Thanks to the joint efforts and advocacy of many, Milwaukee County allocated $1.1 million in American Rescue Plan Act Funds to the Milwaukee Market Match program. Fondy Food Center is the fiscal recipient of the grant, with support from core partners, the American Heart Association and the UW-Madison Division of Extension Milwaukee County FoodWIse program.
